Best Black Friday Strength Equipment Deals in Australia 2026

Strength equipment is one of the most considered purchases in fitness. Unlike a gym membership you can cancel, a squat rack, an all-in-one trainer, or a quality adjustable bench is a long-term investment in your space and your training — which makes Black Friday a genuinely useful buying window. The discounts are real, the products are specific, and the savings on larger pieces can run to several hundred or even over a thousand dollars.

World Fitness Australia currently has a substantial range of strength equipment on sale through its Black Friday Gym Equipment Deals. This guide covers the full range: weight benches, all-in-one functional trainers, adjustable dumbbells, power cages, lat pulldown machines, and a commercial aerobic step — across every price tier from under $400 to commercial-grade systems.

Black Friday Weight Bench Deals: Where to Start

A good adjustable bench is the most versatile piece of equipment in any home gym. It's the foundation for pressing movements, seated shoulder work, incline and decline variations, dumbbell rows, step-ups, and more. It also pairs directly with every dumbbell, barbell, and all-in-one trainer on this list.

The critical specs to look for are the number of backrest adjustment positions and the total load capacity. More positions give you more exercise options. Total capacity matters if you're lifting heavy — a bench rated to 100kg of user weight is limiting for stronger lifters, while a bench rated to 276kg or more will last the life of your training.

ProForm Adjustable FID Bench — Best Value Black Friday Bench

The ProForm Adjustable FID Bench is currently on sale at $399 (down from $499), making it an accessible starting point for anyone building out a home gym this Black Friday.

It adjusts between flat, incline, decline, and military (upright) positions via a fast pull-pin system — 11 backrest positions and 6 seat positions — giving meaningful versatility for pressing, shoulder, and core work. The frame is tested to support a total capacity of 276kg (136kg user weight plus 140kg lifting load), well above what most home gym users will ever need. High-density foam backrest, box-stitched upholstery, anti-slip rubber feet, and built-in transport wheels complete the package.

Dimensions: 118cm L x 44cm W x 26cm H. Product weight: 32kg.

This is the right bench if you're building your first home gym, pairing with a dumbbell set or an entry-level trainer, or buying a second bench for a studio space. Five-star rated across eight reviews on the World Fitness site.

The Everlast Adjustable FID Bench brings a recognisable brand into the adjustable bench category at an accessible price point. A practical option if you want an incline/flat/decline bench from a well-known name. See the deals page for current sale pricing.

BodyIron Studio Utility FID Multi-Bench — Mid-Range Step Up

BodyIron Fold-Away Adjustable Bench SF1000 — Space-Saving Option

If floor space is genuinely limited, the BodyIron Fold-Away Adjustable Bench SF1000 folds completely flat for storage — a sensible option for apartment home gyms or any space where equipment can't be left permanently set up. Check the deals page for current Black Friday pricing.

Black Friday Adjustable Dumbbell Deals

Adjustable dumbbells are arguably the best value addition you can make to a home gym, particularly when space is limited. A single pair replaces an entire rack of fixed weights — and when they're on sale at Black Friday pricing, the value proposition is hard to ignore.

ProForm Adjustable Dumbbells 20kg Pair — Best Black Friday Dumbbell Deal

The ProForm Adjustable Dumbbells 20kg Pair is currently on sale for $499 (was $799) — a saving of $300 on a dumbbell set that covers five resistance settings in one compact system.

Each dumbbell adjusts through five weight settings: 4kg, 8kg, 12kg, 16kg, and 20kg, giving a combined total of 40kg across the pair in a package that takes up the footprint of two dumbbells and their storage trays. The knurled grip handle provides a secure hold during pressing, row, curl, lunge, and shoulder work. Storage trays are included with both dumbbells.

The 4kg weight increments are practical for most exercises — meaningful enough to progress, not so large as to make transitions unmanageable. ProForm uses a plate-selection mechanism rather than a dial system; the dumbbell adjusts internally as plates are added or removed.

Important: These dumbbells are not designed to be dropped. The internal adjustment mechanism can be damaged by impact. Always return them carefully to their trays after use.

At $499 for the pair, this is one of the best Black Friday deals on the entire World Fitness strength range. Paired with the ProForm FID bench at $399, you have a complete home strength setup for under $900 total.

Black Friday All-in-One Trainer Deals

All-in-one trainers are the defining product category for serious home gym investment. Rather than buying a squat rack, cable machine, chin-up station, and functional trainer separately — and finding floor space for all of them — a quality all-in-one system puts everything in a single footprint.

The BodyIron range is World Fitness's house brand for all-in-one trainers, offering a clear progression from compact cable-and-rack hybrids to full commercial-grade systems with integrated weight stacks, Smith machines, and dual-cable crossover functionality. Understanding where each model sits in that progression is the key to finding the right one.

What to Understand Before Buying an All-in-One Trainer

There are two main architecture types. Plate-loaded systems (like the FT1) use Olympic weight plates you load yourself — unlimited resistance potential, but you need to buy plates and a barbell separately. Weight-stack systems (like the MFT100 and FT750) come with integrated pin-loaded or steel weight stacks built in — no additional weights required for the cable system.

The other key variable is the Smith machine component. The FT1 and MFT100 are functional trainers with power rack and cable systems — no Smith machine. The FT2 and FT750 add a linear-bearing Smith machine, giving you a guided bar path for pressing, squatting, and other barbell work.

For most home gym users building their first serious strength setup, the FT1 at its Black Friday price is the natural starting point. For buyers who want an integrated weight stack without buying plates, the MFT100 makes more sense. For those who want a Smith machine alongside cable and rack functionality, the FT2 or FT750 steps up accordingly.

BodyIron Studio MFT100 Multi Functional Trainer — Best Entry All-in-One on Sale

The BodyIron Studio MFT100 is currently on sale at $1,299 (was $1,899) — a saving of $600.

This is the most compact and accessible system in the BodyIron all-in-one range. It combines a functional trainer, half rack, and cable crossover in a 140 x 144 x 220cm footprint, with a 60kg integrated weight stack already built in — no plates required for the cable system. The dual pulley system has 14 height-adjustable positions and 180° rotation, with an aircraft-grade 500kg-rated cable running on sealed-bearing pulleys.

The MFT100 includes a multi-grip chin-up bar (120kg max load), dipping handles with two width options, J-hooks and spotter arms rated to 150kg, a low row footrest, and Olympic barbell storage for both 50mm and 29mm bars. Included attachments: lat pulldown bar, 2x adjustable handles, triceps rope, and short straight bar. 50x50mm frame, 2-year frame warranty, 1-year cables and parts.

The MFT100 is the right pick for buyers who want a full cable-and-rack system with a built-in weight stack in a space-efficient package. The $600 Black Friday saving makes it a compelling entry into serious home gym territory.

BodyIron FT1 All-In-One Trainer — Best Mid-Range All-in-One on Sale

The BodyIron FT1 is on sale at $1,549 (was $1,999) — a saving of $450. With over 300 units sold, this is one of World Fitness's most established all-in-one trainer models.

The FT1 combines a full commercial-style functional trainer with an Olympic power rack in a single unit. It's built from 60x60mm heavy-duty high-tensile steel with chrome-finished guide rails, runs a 2:1 cable pulley system with 220kg plate-loaded capacity and 17 adjustable height levels, and has a 250kg maximum rackable weight on the barbell catches. The multi-grip chin-up bar supports 250kg. Assembled dimensions: 150 x 159 x 222cm.

The FT1 ships with a genuinely useful accessory package: long straight bar, premium nylon handles, tricep rope, ankle strap, dip attachment, landmine core trainer, T-bar row attachment, suspension trainer anchor, 6 Olympic weight plate storage pegs, 6 attachment storage hooks, and an Olympic barbell holder. 2-year parts warranty.

Note: bench, barbell, and plates are not included. The FT1 is compatible only with a 7ft barbell.

For buyers who already own or plan to buy plates, the FT1 at $1,549 is the strongest single-purchase home gym value in the Black Friday sale — a machine that will serve serious training for years without limitation.

***MFT100 vs FT1:** Choose the MFT100 if you want a built-in weight stack and a more compact footprint without buying plates. Choose the FT1 if you want a larger, heavier-duty plate-loaded system with a higher cable capacity and more attachment versatility.*

BodyIron FT2 Studio All-in-One Trainer with Smith Machine

The BodyIron FT2 Studio All-in-One Trainer with Smith Machine adds a linear-bearing Smith machine to the FT1's functional trainer and power rack architecture. If you want guided barbell training for bench press, squat, overhead press, and hip thrust without relying entirely on free barbell work, the Smith machine component is a meaningful addition. Check the Gym Equipment Deals page for current Black Friday pricing.

BodyIron Studio X9 All-In-One Trainer

The BodyIron Studio X9 is a studio-grade system designed for buyers who want commercial build quality in a home or PT studio setting. The X9 steps up in frame specification and cable system strength relative to the FT1 and FT2. See the deals page for current sale pricing.

BodyIron FT40 Performance All-In-One Trainer

The BodyIron FT40 sits in the performance tier for users whose training demands exceed what an entry or mid-range all-in-one can deliver. If you're lifting heavy daily, or buying for a PT studio with multiple users, the FT40 offers the construction to match. Check the deals page for current Black Friday pricing.

BodyIron FT50 Ultimate All-In-One Trainer

BodyIron FT750 All-In-One Functional Trainer — The Commercial Flagship

The BodyIron FT750 is the range's commercial flagship, and its Black Friday price represents one of the most significant savings in this sale: $4,199 (was $5,499) — a saving of $1,300.

The FT750 combines a Smith machine, power rack, and functional trainer in a single unit rated for commercial use. The Smith machine runs linear bearings for smooth guided movement with a 400kg maximum rackable weight. The power rack capacity is 300kg. The functional trainer ships with two independent 110kg steel weight stacks (220kg total cable resistance) — a complete cable crossover system without any plates required. Assembled dimensions: 142 x 197 x 230cm.

The FT750 ships with 2x single handles, a long bar, core trainer, barbell holder, J-hooks, spotter arms, and all hardware. Lifetime frame warranty, 2-year parts warranty. Only 3 units in stock at time of writing — a machine this size at this price with this warranty coverage sells through quickly.

The FT750 requires significant floor space, serious ceiling height, and a budget to match. But for buyers fitting out a PT studio, a commercial-quality home gym, or a small group training facility, the $1,300 Black Friday saving on a machine with a lifetime frame warranty is a compelling reason to act.

Choosing Strength Equipment for Your Home Gym This Black Friday

With this many products on sale at once, the buying decision comes down to two questions: what level of training am I doing now, and what do I expect to be doing in two years?

For beginners and casual lifters: Start with the ProForm FID Bench at $399 and the ProForm Adjustable Dumbbells at $499. Under $900 total — a complete home strength setup that handles a full upper and lower body dumbbell program from day one.

For intermediate lifters: The BodyIron FT1 at $1,549 is the most logical single purchase. Combine it with the ProForm bench and a 7ft barbell, and you have cable training, free barbell work, pull-ups, dips, and lower body compound lifts from one system.

For serious or advanced lifters: The BodyIron FT750 at $4,199 is the definitive single-purchase home or studio gym. With two 110kg cable stacks, a Smith machine, and a full power rack, there is nothing you cannot train on it.

For space-constrained buyers: The MFT100 at $1,299 delivers a 60kg-stack functional trainer and half rack in a footprint of 140 x 144cm — the most compact serious all-in-one option in the sale.

For PT studio buyers: The FT750, FT40, FT50, and BodyIron 110kg Lat Pulldown are all built to commercial specifications and warrant consideration for professional studio use.

How to Assess a Black Friday Strength Equipment Deal

Strength equipment Black Friday deals warrant closer scrutiny than smaller purchases because the numbers involved are larger and the commitment is longer.

Check the frame warranty, not just the price. A lifetime frame warranty — which the FT750 and several BodyIron trainers carry — is a meaningful commitment from the manufacturer. A product with no frame warranty or only a 1-year parts warranty is a different risk profile at the same price.

Understand what's included. Some all-in-one trainers include weight stacks (the MFT100, FT750); others require you to supply your own plates (the FT1, FT2). Some include cable attachments; others do not. The price comparison between models only makes sense once you account for what you'd need to add to make each one functional.

Measure your space honestly. The FT750 assembled is 142 x 197cm at the base; the FT1 is 150 x 159cm. Add clearance space for cable motion and barbell loading on each side. Measure before purchasing.

Check stock levels. The FT750 had only 3 units in stock at time of writing. High-demand Black Friday items at meaningful discounts sell through quickly at World Fitness. The Gym Equipment Deals page shows live stock status for each product.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best all-in-one home gym to buy on Black Friday in Australia?

For those who want a built-in weight stack without buying plates, the BodyIron MFT100 at $1,299 (was $1,899) is the better fit.

What is the difference between the BodyIron FT1 and FT750?

The FT1 is a plate-loaded functional trainer and power rack — you supply your own Olympic plates and barbell. The FT750 is a commercial-grade system that combines a Smith machine, power rack, and functional trainer with two 110kg integrated weight stacks. The FT750 is a significantly larger machine, carries a higher price, and comes with a lifetime frame warranty vs the FT1's 2-year parts warranty.

Is a functional trainer worth buying on Black Friday?

Yes — Black Friday is one of the few times World Fitness discounts all-in-one trainers significantly. The FT1 is $450 off, the MFT100 is $600 off, and the FT750 is $1,300 off — all genuine reductions from established regular prices.

What is the best adjustable weight bench on sale this Black Friday?

The ProForm Adjustable FID Bench at $399 (was $499) is the standout value pick — 276kg total capacity, 11 backrest positions, fold-flat storage, and a five-star rating from 8 Australian buyers. Are the BodyIron all-in-one trainers suitable for home use?

Do the all-in-one trainers come with everything I need to start training?
