Spirit machines with built-in Bluetooth FTMS can connect directly to the SPIRIT+ app, which can then integrate with your favourite fitness apps. Follow the instructions inside each app to share workout data from the SPIRIT+ app to your preferred application.
Residential Spirit machines are compatible with Bluetooth and/or 5KHz heart rate transmitters, depending on the model. Check the relevant product page for exact compatibility details.
First, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone or tablet. Then open your music app such as Spotify or Apple Music and select the Spirit machine speakers as your preferred audio output.
Yes. You can still use the SPIRIT+ app to access on-demand workout classes and playlists even without Bluetooth. However, workout progress cannot be tracked in the app unless your machine has Bluetooth connectivity.
The following residential Spirit products include built-in Bluetooth FTMS and can pair directly with the SPIRIT+ app:

If you purchase a qualifying Spirit product such as a treadmill, bike, elliptical, rower, climber, stepper, or strength item, your SPIRIT+ membership is free. You only need your Spirit product serial number to activate it, and no credit card is required.
If you want to use the SPIRIT+ app without owning a qualifying Spirit product, membership is $9.99 per month and you will be prompted to enter your credit card details after downloading the app and creating an account.
Download the SPIRIT+ app from the App Store or Google Play, then follow the prompts to create your account. If you purchased a qualifying Spirit product, have your product serial number ready so you can activate your free membership. Once your details and serial number are added, you can access classes, playlists, and more straight away.
Log in to the SPIRIT+ app on your mobile device, then tap the Bluetooth icon in the upper right corner of the app. The app will search for nearby Bluetooth-enabled Spirit machines. Stand within 5 feet of your machine to help ensure a stable connection. Once your machine appears on screen, select it to pair. After pairing, it will be saved in your “My Devices” list for future use.
No. For safety and security reasons, the SPIRIT+ app does not control the speed of your machine.
