The Body Iron Bulgarian Split Squat is a highly effective exercise equipment that targets the legs and glutes, helping you to achieve a stronger, more toned lower body.
Featuring 8 adjustable heights and comfortable 360-degree padding, this heavy-duty piece of equipment allows you to perform all your favourite single-leg lunges and split squats with your ankle having secure support. It can be easily adjusted to add or reduce the difficulty of your choice of exercise. The secure rubber-capped feet allow for a stronger and sturdy base, minimizing the risk of injury as you perform your exercises.
The unique design of this equipment allows you to perform the exercise by placing one foot on an elevated surface, such as a bench or step, and then lunging forward with the opposite leg. The elevated position provides a deeper stretch in your quadriceps and glutes, which result in increased muscle activation and growth.
The split squat can also be used with dumbbells, kettlebells or a barbell if you’re looking for added resistance to your workouts. Given the opportunity to squat using a single leg, it is a great functional exercise and can be used to enhance leg strength, flexibility and balance.
